Big blue: Martha Proctor's art-glass bead
Martha Proctor's big blue borosilicate bead is made of handmade murrini slices laid over a shimmery core. The murrinis are raked to create swirling patterns, and the entire bead is encased in clear glass, evoking a mysterious, layered depth.
